Our Engagement at Mount Stewart, Northern Ireland

We got engaged on the 5th July 2014 in the beautiful gardens of one of the National Trust’s finest properties, Mount Stewart. Near the town of Newtownards in County Down, Mount Stewart is an 18th-century house and garden in Northern Ireland. When we lived in Holywood for a couple of years whilst Keith was based at Belfast City airport and Angela worked in the cafe at M&S in the centre of Belfast, we used to visit the house and gardens.

A weekend break to Northern Ireland recently seemed the perfect opportunity to get engaged; after 12 years or so together some said it was about time Keith got on with asking the important question!
